Year-End Pensions Decreased by 25% in Belarus
In Belarus, the real size of pensions, adjusted for inflation, declined by 24.8% in October against the same period last year, reported the National Statistics Committee of Belarus. While compared with September, the real size of pensions fell by 7.6%.
The National Statistics Committee, the average old-age pensions amounted to Br795.2 thousand ($90.7 dollars), disability pensions - Br706.2 thousand, the benefit in connection with the death - Br511.3 thousand and social pensions - Br411.6 thousand.
2.470.5 thousand pensioners were registered in the bodies of labor, employment and social protection in October 2011. The average size of pensions, assigned to them, amounted to Br767.1 thousand.
