Belarus' Ministry of Foreign Affairs: USA`s claims are groundless
Press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Andrei Savinnykh commented on US sanctions in regard to Belvneshpromservice company and said that the claims of the American side were groundless and unfaithful.
It is declared in the report from 19th of September published by United States Department of the Treasury that Belvneshpromservice company delivered fuses for bombs to Syrian armed forces.
In this respect the Treasury has imposed sanctions against Belvneshpromservise.
"It is not more than an attempt to pressure Belarus for its open and principal position in favor of peaceful settlement of the internal Syrian conflict," Andrei Savinnykh said.
According to him, Belorussian side has always rigorously implemented solutions of UN security council.
"In this connection unilateral sanctions of the USA contradict with the spirit of constructive cooperation between nations on the basis of international law and mutual respect. We strongly reject such approach and think that unilateral sanctions' imposition is inadmissible," Mr. Savinykh said.
