"Belarusian authorities should respect the right to freedom of assembly and stop arresting peaceful protesters", - the document says.
Human rights activists remind, that according to their data, earlier at July 3rd in Minsk about 340 people who participated in the "tacit" protests actions, were detained.
Witnesses told Human Rights Watch, that the police used tear gas to disperse the demonstrators, and some protesters were beaten.
"The police crackdown in Belarus is brutal, absurd, and wrong", - said Hugh Williamson, Europe and Central Asia director at Human Rights Watch, as Interfax-Zapad informs.
