UDF Decided to Nominate Single Presidential Candidate
The main decision, which was taken on May, 27 during the meeting of the Presidium of the Political Council of the United Democratic Forces (UDF), determines the position regarding the nomination of single presidential candidate. Co-chairman of the UDF Anatoly Lebedko told to ucpb.org website.
"Presidium of the UDF proposed to nominate single presidential candidate from the democratic forces in the forthcoming presidential elections. And finds it necessary to formulate and adopt the procedure of nomination", - the politician said.
He also noted that the Presidium proposed all interested democratic organizations to participate in the discussion and adoption of the procedure of nomination of single democratic candidate. "And thirdly, we address to the mass media with a proposal to provide information support in this process", - Anatoly Lebedko said.
