Baumgertner's criminal cases consolidated
The Russian and Belarusian criminal cases against former Uralkali CEO Vladislav Baumgertner were consolidated.
It became known as Moscow's Basmanny district court was hearing a complaint regarding actions of investigators, who had ordered a forensic audio examination of Baumgertner's voice conversations, TASS reports.
Baumgertner's lawyer said the cases had been consolidated. The investigator confirmed this information.
Uralkali's ex-head was arrested in Minsk in August 2013 and charged with abuse of power. He was extradited to Russia on November 22 and placed in a temporary detention facility in Moscow. He was later put under house arrest. He was to remain under arrest until October 14, 2014, but was released in early September.
