Baranavichy entrepreneurs ready to protest in Minsk
Private entrepreneurs want to protest against the changes introduced by Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s order #222.
The order obliges private entrepreneurs to have documents proving where they bought their products after July 1.
Entrepreneurs are ready to protest, Baranavichy Alternativa activist Mikalai Charnavus told BelaPAN. They are planning to present zero income statements to the local tax inspectorate on June 30. Then they want to meet the administration of the City Executive Committee on July 1 to report that entrepreneurs are in a hopeless situation and cannot work.
If local officials do not listen, entrepreneurs will go to Minsk on July 3. They are going to protest in October Square. Baranavichy entrepreneurs are also planning to visit the local job centre and register as unemployed there.
Entrepreneurs from the the market Palesski in Baranavichy are also going to stop working after July 1.
