Belarus budget changed on day 54 of year
Belarus has revised the country's budget for the current year. Presidential Decree "On Refinement of Individual Indicators of Republican Budget" is dated February 23 and comes into force today, February 24. The planned revenues in the first draft of the republican budget were 180 billion rubles, and the spending was 163 trillion. Thus, it was supposed to receive a surplus of 17 trillion rubles.
Among the key development goals were growth and export diversification, creation of new jobs.
Priority sectors for financing were health and education. Family capital fund was supposed to get 2 trillion rubles.
